Career and Technical Education (CTE)

Roscoe Collegiate ISO CTE programs provide career and postsecondary preparation for all students in the district. Our programs provide students with AUTHENTIC, RIGOROUS, and RELEVANT experiences such as: 

  • Engaging with Industry experts through guest speaking, tours, projects, and internships
  • Earning college credit
  • Learning and practicing academic knowledge and technical skills in simulated Industry environments on campus
  • Developing employability and technical skills
  • Building leadership skills through Career and Technical Student Organizations
  • Allow students to explore REAL- WORLD career opportunities
  • Provide industry credentials & certifications
     

Roscoe Collegiate ISO CTE collaborates with partners to implement programs that prepare students for career and postsecondary success in high - wage, in -demand occupations, and provide employers with a work-ready pool of candidates. Whether a student plans to pursue a 4- year degree, community college credential, technical certificate, apprenticeship, enlist in the military, or join the workforce directly, there is a CTE program for every student at RC'S°.

P-20 System Mission Statement:
The goal of the Roscoe Collegiate P-20 System Model for Student Success is to develop a collaborative, sustainable and replicable model for breaking the generational poverty cycle through higher education (EARLY COLLEGE), while supplying critical agricultural STEM workforce shortage areas that will be critical to meeting the daunting challenge of feeding and clothing 9 billion people on the planet by 2050 (STEM ACADEMY).
